New Food- Bun Bo Hue
When trying out a new restaurants, I’ve always go SAFE.
But this is a bowl of #búnbòhuế , our first time trying both new restaurant and the new dish as well.
Noodles
The rice vermicelli inside the dish is thicker, which differs from the one in pho soup. I think this kind of rice vermicelli is really similar to Cross-Bridge-Noodle, the traditional dish in Yunnan.
Contains
The one I taste should include beef brisket, pork, slices of pork meatball, pork tendon , cubes of pig blood and vegetables. Unluckily the owner didn’t add pig blood cubes in the bowl, she might thought we afraid to eat them. But Bun Bo Hue with pig blood is actually what we came for, maybe next time!
Soup
Bun Bo Hue is actually a spicy beef noodle soup, but I asked them if can make it non-spicy, otherwise I can’t eat. With good lemongrass smell and full of umami. Hope I can eat spicy food one day.
